S4:E52- After about a week of this, I stopped telling fortunes.

The cold winter nights are still stretching ahead of us, but I don’t want anyone to worry – I’ve got the perfect collection of stories ahead for you to curl up under a blanket with. (Just…maybe don’t focus too hard on that dark corner on the other side of the room.)

From demonic possessions to fortune-telling, to poltergeists, today’s episode has everything you could wish for that goes bump in the night, and make you wonder what, exactly, that sound was that you heard in the frozen darkness outside…

So…ready to get spooked?

S4:E51 – Silent, of course, except for the BOOM BOOM BOOM of thudding footsteps…

It’s a brand new year! I hope that you all enjoyed a safe and happy holiday season with those who are most important to you. People everywhere are talking about how we need to walk quietly and carefully into 2022, just in case. And for me, what better way to sneak in somewhere…than with a quietly whispered ghost story, told in the midwinter dark?

I’ve been collecting stories for you that I think are really going to start your new year off on the best – that is to say, creepiest – note.

S3:E49 – The best way I can think to describe it is that it seemed to be a portal to hell.

As a general rule, when we think about being watched by supernatural entities, or spirits from beyond, it’s terrifying, right? Who wants to be watched, especially when you thought you were alone?

Well, maybe some of today’s stories will have you rethinking that. While nevertheless terrifying to find yourself not as alone as you might have thought…maybe fear is what we make it. And maybe being afraid isn’t what our watchers intended at all.

S3-E48: Y’all I swear… I’m so creeped out right now…

Many spiritual encounters involve watching a ghostly occurrence happen around you like objects moving or disembodied sounds. We’re most afraid of the encounters happening to us such as being touched or personally talked to or targeted. From unknown entities beckoning someone to join them, to an apparition begging to have her name known, these stories will have all your senses on guard when you find yourself alone at night.

S3:E46 – It was huge, skeletal, malnourished, with inhumanely sharp features.

I’m BAAAACCCCKKKKK!!

I’ve collected some interesting stories for you today, from different ends of “the fear spectrum”, shall we call it. From strange sightings to near-death experiences, we’ve got them all in here today, and I’m so excited to share them with all of you! I know I’ve said it before, but I really love hearing all of your submitted stories — no two are ever the same, and no experience is ever repeated! It just goes to show how much there is out there in the world…and how much we’ll never really know the truth about.

Welcome back to IHWN, I’m your host, Brittney.

I’m filling in for Lanie while she’s out on maternity leave.

We’re well past the Halfway To Halloween point of the year, and I don’t know about you, but I’m already starting to keep an eye out for those upcoming spooky specials in all areas pretty soon. Summer is lovely, don’t get me wrong, but Halloween? Halloween is a state of mind, one that we absolutely embrace here on the Haunted team.

And speaking of that scary state of mind, we’ve got quite the collection of stories for you today that will really get you into that mindset.

S3:E44-As a precaution, I am going to throw away the mirror…

Welcome back to It’s Haunted What Now, I’m your host, David Ginsburg. I’m hosting this episode for Lanie while she’s out on Maternity leave. I host a weekly podcast called Tales from the Fandom where I talk to a different guest each week about fandoms they love. Find it on all the major streaming sites and social media. Tales from the Fandom.

I’m so excited to host this spooky episode and I cannot wait to get started.  Author Wendy Wunder wrote in one of her novels, “The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.” Homes are the locations that experience the most hauntings. Is it because it’s the place we feel safest during life? Is it because it holds all of our memories? Is it because no matter where we go, home is always going to be a piece of who we are? Do we leave a piece of ourselves behind? Today we’ll hear a collection of stories in which home is where the paranormal heart is.

Ok, ready to get spooked?

Thank you to David Ginsburg, host of Tales from the Fandom Podcast for hosting for me!
