S4E66 – She Needed Help

For centuries humans have been telling stories to teach or find like-minded companions. We tell ghost stories to spook each other and to find hope that we are not alone in what we experience. That we’re not losing our minds. Today’s episode is brimming with tales of people lucky enough to have witnessed unfortunate people who wished they weren’t alone.

S5E64: Trust Your Dreams…

With winter still dragging on, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the darkness, the cold, and the sad, listless feeling of being pulled along through the year. Everything seems on edge; the trees are creaking with bare branches, and the ice echoes when it snaps in the night.

A perfect setup for ghost stories, right?

While I won’t argue with you, I do think that some of the stories we’ve gathered here today have a little more of a spark to them, particularly if you stick around right to the end. After all, even if things keep going bump in the night…that little jolt of fear in your chest is a reminder that you’re here, and you’re alive. Right?

I think it’s reassuring, in a way.

But without further ado … are you ready to get spooked?

S5E63 – I NEVER Have to Go There Again…

They say seeing is believing, but what if you saw it and heard it and lived it but you still can’t believe it? It’s so hard to accept paranormal experiences as real, but when it happens to you, what else can you do but believe it as real? Sometimes it’s so hard to believe what happened really did happen because it was so fantastical and unreal.

Stay Spooky and Happy Holidays!

S4E62 – No Malicious Intent…

As we move into the darkest parts of the year, I’m reminded of the old traditions in certain parts of the world, where people would tell ghost stories over the holiday season. It’s cold, it’s dark, and the world seems to be leaning just a little more toward that thin, liminal space between our world and something a little more…sinister.

S4E61 – Wherever You Go…

Author Wendy Wunder wrote, “The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.” Ever wonder why spirits choose to return or never leave a location? It might be a familiar place in an unfamiliar dimension. It might be the safety they always felt during life. This episode will have you second-guessing every sound you hear at night with tales about home sweet home. Okay, ready to get spooked?

S4E60 – It Was Coming From Behind Me…

With the passing of Halloween, the spooky season has officially come to a close. This doesn’t mean that we’re anywhere near finished with ghost stories though; on the contrary, I think November has just as strong of a case as October for being a time for scary stories told after dark. The sun makes rarer and rarer appearances these days, which means there’s plenty of extra time to listen to the stories I’ve collected for you. So…are you ready to get spooked?
